Personally I find it _very_ difficult (nay, impossible..) to listen to many “band” albums when I’m working.. (by that I typically mean any music with vocals/lyrics). I’m too easily distracted at the best of times.. and singing along (or trying to) doesn’t help..

Music such as this latest (March 2017) digital-only release from C418, on the other hand, is just *perfect* for my working-day-soundtrack. Addictive, atmospheric and entirely non-confrontational too, in equal measure. Oh, and you can add “excellent!” to that descriptive list too.

If you have previously only been familiar with C418’s work on Minecraft (for which two releases are available), you’ll find “DIEF” a more complex, structured affair by comparison – but it in no way suffers as a result. There’s a genuinely “chilled out” vibe going on here – and the seven tracks draw you in immediately. #recommended!
